In the year 2020, the humans have lived as they always have, evolving and making their way in the world, reading the stories of old for pure pleasure, some wishing the creatures that graced their pages were real. Little do the humans know, it was them that made the world the way it was though the creatures they dream about do live. Hundreds of years ago when men first came to be, they inhabited the world along side the mythical creatures of lore but soon they began to see them as a threat and the creatures began to dwindle in numbers until they were almost extinct. The gods took this time to step in, banishing the humans to an identical world to the one they now lived in cutting them off from the creatures of old.
For years the stories of what they had once had remained though as time passed the stories that had always been true began to turn into stories that someone had created to fulfill their own fantasies. For hundreds of years the two worlds remained apart but hating the placid, chaos free living that both worlds lived, the God of Chaos decided to change it all.
Creating a portal which the other gods could not close, he bestowed a human form to all of the mythical creatures, showing the way via dreams to the portal. Certain creatures cross over merely to coexist with the humans while other go on behalf of the gods to destroy the human world but the other gods did not just sit by. Instead they bestowed special powers upon some of the humans to combat the hostile creatures that work under the god of Chaos and only time will tell if it will all lead to an all out battle or if some how they can coexist in peace.
